When you see a police cruiser with a speeder pulled over, slowly and safely move to the farthest lane away and keep your eyes forward. Your safety and the safety of the officer are compromised if you "rubber-neck" to see what's going on, especially if you are in the lane closest to them.

When traveling with children in your truck be sure to have enough stuff to keep them busy on the trip, like DVD's in a portable DVD player, CD's , Sudoku puzzles, etc. If they're younger, you can taking coloring books, BUT if you take crayons be sure they're kept in a place where they won't melt and ruin stuff in your truck. Maybe it would be better to just take colored pencils in that case. And have a plastic bag with a zipper to put them in, just in case they do melt and then they won't get all over.
