Make sure that you have regular maintenance done on your truck such as: Oil changes, tuneups, etc. Usually a shop will check all your fluids and your tire pressure at this time. It saves a lot of money in the long run, plus you know that your vehicle is safe.

When hauling anything that sicks out or is longer than the truck bed, always put a red flag at its end. That way people won't walk into it when you're parked.

I used to do a lot of freeway driving and no matter what day there would always be that one erratic driver weaving and bobbing through the traffic, coming too close to cars and trucks, and driving way too fast. Usually when they are behind you, they tailgate you. Please! Pull over and let them get around you!

If someone is tailgating you slow down or pull over. There is no sense getting upset. Driving in traffic is dangerous enough.

When you're going to be on the road for awhile make sure you have a driver's side wiper blade. My driver's side blade broke off in a terrible rain storm. I could not see. It was very frightening for me.
