How do I enter to win?
To enter the $5,000 Truck Tips Contest, all you need to do is visit progressivetrucktips.com, register as a user of the site, and submit a tip in one of the following categories: Funny, Fuel Savings, On the Road, On the Job, Vehicle & Driving, and Safety. All tips submitted between October 15, 2008 and March 31, 2009 are automatically entered into the Truck Tips contest. Be sure to submit your own original tips and keep it clean. Leave your dirty talk for your cb.
What can I win?
There are prizes as big as a big rig for the $5,000 Truck Tips contest! The person who submits a tip and is selected as the grand prize winner will win $5000 and have their Truck Tip used in a Progressive radio advertisement. Six additional winners will each receive $500 for truck tips selected in the following categories: Funny Tips, Fuel Savings Tips, On the Road Tips, On the Job Tips, Vehicle and Driving Tips, and Safety Tips.
How are the winners chosen?
A panel of Progressive judges will review the submitted tips and select winners based on the following: originality, relevancy to commercial vehicles and insurance, suitability as a radio advertisement, and popularity based on online voting. So be creative and submit your tip today! Tell your friends to vote for your tips between October 15, 2008 and April 14, 2009 to have a better chance to win. All they’ll need to do is select a star rating for your tip – 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. One vote per tip per day, please.
Who is eligible to win?
The $5,000 Truck Tips contest is open to legal residents of the United States currently residing in the fifty states and the District of Columbia who are age 18 years or older at the time of entry. Progressive employees and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to win. Progressive officers, directors, agents and representatives, including subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers are also ineligible.
How will I know if I’ve been selected as a winner?
Winners will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email, so be sure to include all of your information when you register to submit Truck Tips. Winners will also be announced online at progressivetrucktips.com.
